At Mankin and Sons Garden’s, we love Valentine’s Day. There is no better day to share what we do best with our community. While everyone celebrates Valentine’s Day differently, we wanted to share a few tips for making sure your holiday goes off without a hitch:
Plan Ahead
The key to a great Valentine’s Day is a little bit of planning. Think about how your day is going to play out. If you would like to give your significant other some flowers at a restaurant, think about where they will put the flowers during the meal (this rule also goes for movies or any date away from the home). On the other hand, if you will be at home for the gift, you may want to think about whether or not you have a vase and if you do, will the flowers fit nicely inside? A little planning goes a long way.

Roses have become synonymous with Valentine’s Day, and for good reason. They are beautiful and elegant.
